BCL team of students led by Mr Jianshu Zhou won champion of 3rd annual international soft robotic design and picking challenge in Shanghai Jiaotong University, Shanghai, in December 2017.
The soft gripper designed by BCLab team picked 5 kg of weight while weighing only 500g. It also successfully picked up all 12 daily objects set in the challenge.
