BCL team of students led by Mr Jianshu Zhou won champion of 3rd annual international soft robotic design and picking challenge in Shanghai Jiaotong University, Shanghai, in December 2017.
The soft gripper designed by BCLab team picked 5 kg of weight while weighing only 500g. It also successfully picked up all 12 daily objects set in the challenge.
Congrats to all students participated in the development of the soft gripper, and special thanks to Xiaojiao (representing the Lab in participating the Shanghai Challenge), Liangliang (Development of Control Box), Zixie (Testing the gripper)!
